After a nail-biting finish, Maharashtra emerged as the champions in both the men's and women's categories of the 56th National Kho Kho Championship held in New Delhi. In a tightly contested final match, Maharashtra narrowly defeated Railways with a score of 52-50, thanks to a strong comeback in the third inning. The winning team was awarded Rs. 3 lakh while the runner-up received Rs. 2 lakh. BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi, present at the event, stressed the importance of teamwork and expressed hope for the continuous growth of Kho Kho.
