Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw used the homegrown, cloud-based presentation software Zoho Show to demonstrate India's digital innovation and self-reliant growth strategies during a media briefing on Union Cabinet decisions. Vaishnaw also highlighted the use of MapmyIndia's domestic mapping platform in the presentation. This move is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and showcases India's growing capabilities in the technology sector, promoting the use of local solutions and digital tools for self-reliance.

Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh has revealed details of the Tejas Mk2, an advanced 4.5-generation multirole Light Combat Aircraft currently under development by ADA and HAL. The Mk2 is an extension of the Mk1A and will be able to carry more weapons, perform better in terms of range and endurance, and falls within the IAF's scheme of things. Although facing supply chain issues, the delivery of 97 LCA Mk1As will begin in 2027-28 and be completed over six years. The IAF has successfully adapted training strategies to overcome challenges faced with trainer aircraft.
