Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh revealed that during "Operation Sindoor," a key operation in the India-Pakistan conflict, at least six Pakistani fighter jets and two stationary aircraft were shot down by India. The successful operation was largely attributed to India's new Russian S-400 air defence systems and the political leadership's support for the armed forces. Singh also mentioned that the Indian Air Force managed its longest ever surface-to-air elimination in history, bringing down an AWACS plane about 300km away.
